Zaheerabad: A massive rally was organised under the aegis of All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC), Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) and other employee unions as part of nationwide strike here on Tuesday. The members of all unions submitted a memorandum to MRO.
The employees also submitted a memorandum to Municipal Commissioner after staging a dharna in front of Municipal office. They took out the rally covering main roads including national highway.
AITUC Municipal Labour Association state vice president K Narsimlu and CITU district secretary S Mahipal blamed union and state governments for destroying labour laws. They are deceiving employees and labours after supporting capitalists and managements, Mahipal added.
