Territorial Army TA recruitment will be conducted from January 28 to February 3 at Secunderabad
Hyderabad: Territorial Army (TA) recruitment will be conducted from January 28 to February 3 at Secunderabad. Recruitment rally is being conducted to fill 69 vacancies for solider (general duty) in 125 Infantry Battalion (TA), and to fill 1 vacancy each for soldier clerk (SD), soldier (hair dresser), soldier (washerman), soldier chef (community), soldier (chef special) and soldier (mess keeper) and 10 vacancies for solider (general duty) in 123 Infantry Battalion (TA). The recruitment rally is for the candidates of zone IV comprising Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Goa states and the Union Territories of Pondicherry, Dadar and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu and Lakshadweep.
Individual screening will be held for the candidates of all districts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh by checking documents and physical fitness on January 28 from 5 am to 11.05 am, at the office of Railway Engineer (Territorial Army), Moula Ali, for Soldier (General Duty and Tradesmen) vacancies. For the candidates of Rajasthan and Maharashtra, screening will be on January 29 and for Kerala, Karnataka, Gujarat, Goa and the Union Territories of Pondicherry, Dadar and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu and Lakshadweep, it will be on January 30.
Candidates should be between 18 and 42 years of age on the date of recruitment, height should be 160 cm and above, chest should be 77 cm with a minimum expansion of 5 cm and weight should be 50 kg and above. Candidates applying for general duty solider should have passed Class 10 with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject and for solider clerk, the educational qualification is 10+2 pass with 60% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in each subject, and for tradesman post, candidates should have pcased Class 10, while it is Class 8 pass for mess keeper.
