Hyderabad: The Executive Meeting of the All India Judges Association (AIJA) decided to present its demands to the second National Judicial Pay Commission (NJPC) headed by a retired judge of the Supreme Court Justice P Venkatrama Reddy.

Addressing media here after the EC meeting, AIJA president Justice Rajendra Prasad said that the AIJA will visit various cities across the country to take the views of the members on various issues. In turn, the same will be presented to the NJPC.

He said issues like Provident Fund, pay and allowances were among those discussed at the meeting. However, the AIJ will be fighting not just to secure appropriate and suitable pay and allowances but also to get better service conditions, better infrastructure, and better opportunities to discharge the noble function of a judge without any hassles, he added.
