Zaheerabad: Members of Vikasa Tarangini, a non-profit organisation, elected their new committee unanimously here on Tuesday. Alladi Viresham Guptha was elected as new president and Anil Kumar, Kulkarni and Doctor S Chandrashekar as vice president.
J Uma Maheshwar Rao was elected as general secretary and STO Narayana as vice secretary and members of new committee include, B Rajiah, P Saraswathi, Joshi, Padma, Sheshu, Ajay Kumar, Sharadha, Pragna, Krishna Reddy, Ravikiran, Srinivas, Prasad, Sai Reddy and Vital Reddy.
National secretaries Padmanadam, Vijitha Reddy, Doctor Purushottam Rao and Balakishan Rao were present.The committee will remain in force for three years. Devotional and social service programmes will be conducted from February 1, said Alladi Viresham.
