Vikarabad: District Collector Ayesha Masrath Khanam will launch Union government’s flagship programme Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Mandhan Yojana here on Tuesday.
District Assistant Labour Commissioner Chandrashekar Goud, Assistant PF Commissioner and nodal officer Madhusudhana Chary in a press release said that the beneficiaries would be given identity cards.Unorganised sector labourers aged 18-40 should bring Aadhar card and bank pass book along with a month contributory money. Construction workers, agriculture workers, road side vendors, auto drivers and other labourers were eligible for the scheme, said the officials. They requested eligible labourers to avail the scheme. The officials said that they were making arrangements for live telecast of PM’s speech. DRO Motilal, enforcement officer Manikyal Rao and others were present.
