Autobiography of Jyothi Reddy launched The book 'Ainaa nenu vodipoledu', an autobiography of Jyothi Reddy, was launched at Jubilee Hall, Public Gardens, on Sunday.At the launch function, V Sunita Laxma Reddy, Women and Child Welfare Minister, said, "The book would be an inspiration to many women and they would become confident after reading it." She also complimented Emesco Publishers and Ramachandra Murthy, HMTV and The Hans India Editor-in-Chief for taking the initiative to bring out the book."Senior journalist Valliswar penned the autobiography. Educationist and MLC Chukka Ramiah was all praise for Jyoti Reddy and complimented her for braving all odds and scripting her own destiny. He recalled the days when his own mother was averse to sending her daughter to school."Today, the times have changed and half the classrooms are filled with girls and the top five to six ranks are bagged by them. A far cry from the days of the past," he observed. Jyothi Reddy hails from Mylaram,a small village in Warangal district. From working in a farm, teaching in an Anganwadi to becoming the CEO of a company in USA, her story is an inspiration for all women. Valliswar said that Jyothi Reddy herself was eloquent in Telugu and all details echoed her trials and tribulations in life. Jyothi Reddy wished that the book would inspire other women and said that one should not compromise and that no condition would be permanent.
