Finally, the PCC chief Botcha Satyanarayana could make it. Ending the long wait on Sunday, he reconstituted the executive of the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) that would be tasked with the responsibility of spearheading the party campaign in the 2014 elections. The new 30-member strong PCC Executive was constituted after a gap of six years.

Seventeen of them have been appointed as General Secretaries and 13 as Vice-Presidents. The names of PCC Secretaries, Executive Members and official Spokespersons will be announced on Monday. He said all communities and regions had been given equal importance.

The PCC Chief said the new team would strive to strengthen the party and also bring the party back to glory. The new General Secretaries are: B Vedavyas, Md Fareeduddin, KV Nageshwar Rao, Tippeswami, G Rudhraraju, Hari Rama Devi, P Kumar Rao, P Laxma Goud, PJ Sudhakar Babu, A Laxman Kumar, Datta Bindu, R Reddapa Reddy, Jagannadha Srinivas, A Rahman, K Damodar, Kusuma Kumar and T Janardhan.

The new Vice Presidents are: Nandi Yellaiah, Mohd Ali Shabbir, G Chinna Reddy, BS Redya Naik, T Dorai Swami, V Geeta, R Chengal Rayudu, KR Amos, M Gangadhar, T Nagaiah, N Shiva Reddy , Narasimha Reddy and Majji Sharada. The party high command gave its nod to constitute the new executive after holding series of meetings with PCC Chief and Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy.
