Govt transfers 24 IAS officials

• Naveen Mittal moves to SEC
• New collectors for five districts

Hyderabad: In a major bureaucratic shuffle effected on Wednesday, State government transferred in all 24 IAS officers including the district collectors of Khammam, Karimanagar, Adilabad, Vizianagaram and Anantapur. Senior IAS officer, Naveen Mittal who has for long been calling shots in the GHMC as its Special Commissioner has been transferred and posted as Secretary of the State Election Commission while M Sudarshan Reddy was posted as Director of Ports. I Srinaresh was posted as Collector for Khammam district in the place of Siddartha Jain. M Veera Brahmaiah was posted new collector for Karimnagar in place Smita Sabarwal who was transferred to National Rural Health Mission as Director in Hyderabad. A Babu, Kantilal Dande and Lokesh Kumar are new Collectors for Adilabad, Vizianagaram and Anantapur districts respectively. C H Sridhar was shifted to Housing Board as Special Commissioner and Vijayendira is placed as CEO of Anantapur Zilla Parishad. Abdul Khadeem was posted as Secretary to Minorities Welfare Department and Dhanunjaya Reddy as CEO of Arogyasri. J Niwas was given Project Officer post of Utnoor ITDA and K Sarada Devi as Secretary to Disabled Persons Department. Likewise, M Mallikarjuna Naik was posted as Director of e-Seva and M Janaki was given Additional Commissioner post for Visaka Municipal Corporation. M Champalal was transferred to Disaster Management and Rehabilitation Authority as Deputy Commissioner and M Rama Rao as Vice-President to the Vijayawada �Guntur-Tenali-Mangalagiri Urban Development Authority. B Balamayadevi, Bharathi Lakapathi Nayak and Mahammad Abdul Azeem have been posted as Deputy Secretaries in Secretariat. Bharathi Holikeri was given Plan Areas and Project Officer post of ITDA and P Laxminarasiham, who was waiting for posting was transferred to CCLA office. MVS Babu was posted to Bhu Bharathi as Project Director.
