Mandarin Oriental, Munich Invites Guests To An Authentic Oktoberfest Exerience 2016

Mandarin Oriental, Munich is offering guests a special chance to experience Bavaria’s world-famous event in true style with its Oktoberfest Package. Guests will enjoy luxury accommodation, a stylish carriage ride from the hotel to the event and access to the Oktoberfest as well as a host of Bavarian treats. The package is valid from 17 September to 3 October 2016.

Dating back to 1810, the largest beer festival worldwide is an important and much anticipated part of Bavarian culture. Experience some of Germany’s finest beers, all of which have been brewed in Munich, and sample some of the traditional food, including specialties such as Schweinebraten roast pork, Würstl sausages, Brezn pretzels and Käsespätzle cheese noodles.

Mandarin Oriental, Munich’s Oktoberfest package allows guests access to the traditional tent ‘Schützen-Festzelt’ where Bavarian specialities and hospitality is enjoyed on long tables where locals and visitors of all ages mingle. It was one of the first tents to make an appearance at the Oktoberfest, locally called ‘Wiesn’ and is located at the foot of the statue of Bavaria. Another thing, which has made this tent world-famous, is the delicious pork, prepared in an authentic Bavarian manner in malt beer sauce and served with potato-salad.

The package includes a ride from Mandarin Oriental, Munich to the festival in an exclusive carriage. Guests will be accompanied by a VIP host and treated to delicious drinks and traditional Bavarian pretzels on the way.
