It'll be TDP Vs Cong in next polls: Naidu

Visakhapatnam: Setting aside all the poll surveys and speculations, Telugu Desam supremo N Chandrababu Naidu told his party workers on Wednesday that the Congress would be its main opponent in the ensuing elections and expressed confidence that the party would emerge victorious and form the government in the State.

Addressing the party workers of Madugula and Chodavaram constituencies at Balighatam from where he began his padayatra, on Wednesday, he said the workers should extensively tour villages and make people aware of the anti-people policies being pursued by the ruling Congress party. They should also highlight the corruption charges being levelled against the Rajasekhara Reddy family members.

Politburo member Ch Ayyanna Patrudu and MLAs of Chodavaram and Madugula KVSN Raju and G Ramunaidu respectively were present in the meeting and apprised him of the party affairs. After the review meeting, he resumed his padayatra and addressed a public meeting in Narsipatnam. After the meeting, he walked another 3 km to Subbarayudupalem where he would rest for the night. Earlier, he had held a teleconference with the top leaders in the State on the political situation in the State.
