Hanamkonda: All those who fought for the cause of separate Telangana would get their due share in the development in the days to come, asserted Minister for Power and SC Development G Jagadish Reddy.

He said Chief Minister K Chandrshekar Rao was well aware of the sacrifices made by the Telangana activists and the party workers during statehood agitation and their sacrifices would be recognized properly.

The Minister took part in a programme organised at the TRS Warangal Urban party office in Hanamkonda on Wednesday, where all those who actively took part in the separate Telangana movement were felicitated.

The felicitation programme was held under the aegis of Warangal (West) MLA D Vinay Bhasker who has taken up 11-day programme marking Deeksha Diwas which commemorates arrest of KCR in Karimnagar on November 29, 2009 when he was on his way to Siddipet to participate in a fast-unto-death.

Addressing the gathering, the Minister said the CM has been working day and night to place the State at number one position in terms of development. As a result the State was standing at top in many aspects.

The State would witness more visible development in the days to come. The party workers should stand by the CM and counter the false allegations being levelled against KCR and the State government by Opposition parties, he added. MLA Vinay Bhasker informed that the 11-day programme would conclude on December 9, on which a massive rally with artists and Batukammas would be taken out.

Jorika Ramesh, Yakub Reddy, K Vasudeva Reddy and Ch Ramesh were among those who received felicitation. Photo journalists were also honoured on the occasion by the Minister. KUDA Chairman M Yadava Reddy, party leader G Ravi Kumar and others were present.
