NTPC distributes merit scholarship to 161 students
The National Thermal Power Corporation (Ramagundam) distributed merit scholarship worth Rs 4.93 lakh under the aegis of the NTPC Foundation to 161 students from 25 government high schools and six junior colleges of the nearby areas here on Tuesday. Under this scheme, each student received Rs. 3,000 as scholarship.
Ramagundam: The National Thermal Power Corporation (Ramagundam) distributed merit scholarship worth Rs 4.93 lakh under the aegis of the NTPC Foundation to 161 students from 25 government high schools and six junior colleges of the nearby areas here on Tuesday. Under this scheme, each student received Rs. 3,000 as scholarship.
Speaking on the occasion, Nayana Sharma of the Delhi based Samyuktha Mahila Samiti lauded the NTPC of the Ramagundam unit for taking up diversified CSR activities which helped the poor and the needy of the nearby areas.
Dakshin Deepanjali Mahila Samithi president Ramana Kumari, Deepthi Mahila Samithi in-charge president Geeta Prasad and Deepthi Kids Corner in-charge Ratna Kumari Babji distributed the scholarships to students.
