Warangal: An advocate and a retired teacher, Battini Komuraiah, has been appointed as the member of the Permanent Lok Adalat public utility services panel (education) of erstwhile Warangal.

An order in this connection was released by legal and legislative affairs and justice secretary V Niranjan Rao. The Permanent Lok Adalat under the District Legal Services Authority deals with settlement of cases of public utility services such as BSNL, NPDCL, medical, education, life insurance, postal, TSRTC, Municipal Corporation and others.

Komuraiah, who is the founder-president of English Language Teachers Association (ELTA), assumed the charge in the presence of the district principal judge, E Tirumala Devi. He thanked the government for appointing him to the panel and promised delivering duties in an upright manner.

Warangal district Bar Association general secretary T Jeevan Goud, BC Advocates Association leader N Ramesh, ELTA state president P Srinivas and secretary T Venkateshwar Rao congratulated him on his appointment to the panel.
