Warangal: Telangana Rashtra Samithi workers here have strongly condemned the arrest of MLA D Vinay Bhaskar and others in Hyderabad and burnt the effigy of the Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy here on Friday. Hundreds of TRS workers have staged a demonstration at Hanamkonda Chowrastha and raised slogans against the CM and Congress leaders. A large numbers of KU JAC members have also burnt effigy of the CM at Kakatiya University circle. The police on the other hand have put the TRS politburo member Kadiam Srihari and the party leader A Chandulal, the Employees JAC leaders P Subba Rao and Rajesh Kumar, the BJP leaders M Dharma Rao the A Ashok Reddy and others under house arrest in view of the chalo assembly agitation. The BJP leaders were locked up inside their office since yesterday afternoon and prevented them from proceeding to Hyderabad to take part in Chalo Assembly programme. TRS leader Kadiam Srihari was stopped at Jangaon and was sent back to Hanamkonda and was kept under house arrest. TDP MP Gundu Sudharani, the party leaders A Baswa Reddy, Dommati Sambaiah and a large number of KU JAC members were also arrested by the police while they were taking out rallies in support of Chalo Assembly. Meanwhile, the Telangana JAC district chairman Prof. T Papi Reddy has appealed to the public in the district to make the bandh called on Saturday by the TRS chief K CR a grand success.
