raj2Day two of CBIT's 'Carpediem 2013,' the cultural fest of Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, was full of jazz and razzmatazz with dance, music and stunts dominating the show.

Among the impressive events that took place on Friday were Kill the Beat and Free Style (dance competitions) where Ram, Chetan and Nirmesh from the Ram's Step Up Dance Academy judged the 15 performances. Scintillators won the group dance contest and Vishal Sharma from St. Peters' won the solo contest. The event that followed was Resurrection Cypher which was open to all.

Mr and Ms Carpediem had 15 registrations where Vanshika from G Narayamma College won the Ms Carpediem title while Abdulla from CBIT won the Mr Carpediem title.

raj3There were corporate food stalls which attracted the crowd. There was a stunts show performed by Red line Racing and Xtreamdominaterz crew. Bouncers had a tough time controlling the crowds that thronged to see the exciting shows.

The second day of Carpediem ended with the event "Slash, Battle of Bands" where four bands performed. The bands were selected out of 28 bands that performed on the first round on Thursday. The Eccentric Pendulum Band, the biggest band in India, performed at the event.

HMTV-The Hans India is the media partner for the event that concludes today. The finale includes performances by Bollwoood music composers Salim-Sulaiman and DJ Piyush.
