Students of Candor Shrine Senior Secondary School, Hayathnagar emerged winners by bagging runners up trophy in Basketball in recently held Gurukul Cup-2017 conducted by Swami Narayan Gurukul International School, Chilkur where 1628 students competed in different Games And Sports from Nov 30 to Dec 2.

In U14 individual category students, 100m-K Noble Reddy, 200m-K Noble Reddy, 4*100m- V Hanish, G Sujith, Y Adi Raghava Reddy and K Noble Reddy bagged awards, while 100m- R Siddhartha Reddy, 400m-G Sai Sharan Reddy, G Sridhar Reddy, 4*100m-R Siddhartha Reddy, G Sai Sharan Reddy, P Srikanth, K Gowtham raj excelled in U16 category.
D Anudeep, K Akhil Reddy shined in Shotput and Discus Throw events respectively. Chairperson E Malla Reddy of Shri Vani Vaishnavi Educational Institution, Vice Chairman KC Ramaiah and Principal Allam Ratna Reddy thanked and congratulated the coaches L Bharanidharan, B Gokul and P Raju and students on this achievement.
