Suryapet to face off with Nalgonda in TCA Kakatiya Cup final

Hyderabad: Suryapet Sunrisers and Nalgonda Dependables entered into the finals of the TCA Kakatiya Cup 2021 here on Friday. The grand finale will be held at Warangal Cricket Grounds, Vangalapally on Saturday.

B Buchi Babu received the Man of the Match award for his splendid knock of 33 of 34 balls and also scalped three wickets conceding just 7 runs to take his side to victory over Bhadradri Sailors.

A quick-fire 42 of 30 balls by K Raviteja for Bhadradri went in vain as their side were bundled out for 104 in 18.3 overs against a victory target of 143 runs.

In a low-scoring second semifinal match, Nalgonda Dependables chased down the 74-run target set by Kakatiya Kings comfortable in 13 overs with eight wickets in hand.
