Hyderabad: Passengers were annoyed after metro train halted at Irrum Manzil station for over 20 minutes today morning at the peak hours.

Office goers and students who regularly travel through the metro vented out anger over the metro stoppage for no reason. "There was no announcement from the staff pertaining to the train' halt," said a passenger fumingly taking to his twitter handle.

On June 24, there were reports that the metro train was halted for about 20 minutes due to technical snag at Jubilee Hills metro station causing inconvenience to the passengers.

However, the HMRL director NVS Reddy said that as the route is under the Twin Single Line method, trains arrive in quick succession and at times within a gap of 15 minutes.
