Reliance Jio increases data and lowers package prices; now Rs 149 plan offers 42 GB data
Reliance Jio is offering a wide range of prepaid plans to its subscribers, starting from Rs 19 and up to Rs 9,999 for long-term plans except for the sachets packages.
Reliance Jio is offering a wide range of prepaid plans to its subscribers, starting from Rs 19 and up to Rs 9,999 for long-term plans. However, Jio has now increased the data for all its plans, except the sachets packages. This means that plans that previously offered data of 1 GB per day, now offer daily data of 1.5 GB, previous plans with data of 1.5 GB on offer, now comes with 2 GB of data, and so on.
Reliance Jio 1GB data/day packages now offer 1.5GB data/day
To start with, the group of prepaid plans with an initial price of Rs 199 offered 1 GB of data per day. However, Jio has now increased the offer of this category to 1.5 GB of daily data. The plan of Rs 199, now costs Rs 149 and offers data of 42 GB through its validity of 28 days.
The Rs 399 plan now is priced at Rs 349, is valid for 70 days and offers a total of 105 GB of data. The Rs 459 plan is now available at a price of Rs 399 and offers a total of 126 GB of data and is valid for 84 days. Then the plan of Rs 509 is now reduced to Rs 499, which is valid for 91 days and offers 136.5 data in total.
Then there is the prepaid plan of Rs 1,699 with the highest price, which remains the same, except for the data on offer, which has increased from 365 GB of total data to 547.5 GB. The plan comes with a validity of 365 days.
Reliance Jio 1.5 GB data/ day now offers daily data of 2 GB
There are also some changes in the previous recharge packages that offered 1.5 GB per day. All of these now offer data of 2 GB. The price of these packages remains unchanged.
This means that Rs 198 plan now offers 56 GB of data in total with a validity of 28 days. The plans of Rs 398 with a validity of 70 days, offer a total of 140 GB of data. The Rs 448 plan now offers 168 GB data for 84 days. And the Rs 498 plan offers 182 GB of data in total for 91 days.
The 2GB Reliance Jio data/day package now offers daily data of 3GB
In this category, there is only one plan on offer, which has a price of Rs 299, and now offers 84 GB of data for 28 days, instead of the previous data of 56 GB in total.
Reliance Jio 3GB data/day package now offers daily 4GB data
There are also changes in the previous package of 3 GB of data per day, which is priced at Rs 509. That plan now offers daily data of Rs 4 GB for 28 days, which brings the total data to 112 GB.

All these recharge packages continue to offer Jio benefits, such as free voice calls within the country and 100 SMS per day for their respective validity periods. Subscribers who deplete the daily limit of high-speed data during the validity period of any of the recharge packages continue to receive data at a revised rate of 64 Kbps for the remaining period of the day.
