Twitter Tests Its New Feature 'Fleets' In India
The social media giant Twitter has now unveiled its new feature ‘Fleets’ in India. Through this feature, one can witness their ‘Fleeting Thoughts’ disappearing after 24 hours.
The social media giant Twitter has now unveiled its new feature 'Fleets' in India. Through this feature, one can witness their 'Fleeting Thoughts' disappearing after 24 hours. This feature is exactly the same as the 'Stories' of Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat platforms.
Well, coming to create a new Fleet, one needs to tap on the profile picture on the top left corner and then add their messages or photos to it by clicking on 'Fleet' tab.
The company has announced that 'Fleets' feature is now in the testing phase and after a while, it gets added to all the Twitter accounts. This news is announced by Twitter itself through their official Twitter page… Have a look!

The video starts off explaining what is a 'Fleet'… It says that 'Fleet' is a new way to use the Twitter account… One can share their thoughts, messages, recipes, quotes and lot more along with pics and videos, but they will be automatically disappeared after 24hours.
The MD of Twitter India Manish Maheshwari says that, "India is important for Twitter since it is one of our largest and fastest-growing audience markets globally. We are excited to bring the Fleets experiment to India and make it one of the first three countries in the world to experience this new product. It will also be interesting to see if it further amplifies the diversity of usage by allowing people to share what they're thinking in a way that is light-touch and light-hearted," he adds.
Well, after testing this feature in Brazil and Italy, India becomes the third country going with this testing phase. Well, for now, we need to wait to know when Twitter adds its 'Fleets' feature to all the Twitterites accounts.
