Vodafone introduced Rs 499 plan and modified its existing Rs 555 plan for its subscribers.

Vodafone has released a new prepaid recharge plan of Rs 499 that arrives in the market with 1.5GB of data and available across all major circles. Vodafone also made minor changes to the Rs 555 plan.

Vodafone Rs 499 Recharge Plan

TelecomTalk reported that the Rs 499 Vodafone prepaid recharge plan replaces the older Rs 555 plan. The new plan offers 1.5GB of daily data, unlimited voice calls, and 100 messages every day. Also, Vodafone has bundled the recharge plan with a Zee5 subscription of worth Rs 999.

As per the Vodafone website, the latest Rs 499 prepaid recharge plan under its unlimited voice calling offer does not exclude IUC calls. The Rs 499 plan comes with a validity of 60 to 70 days based on which circle the user lives in.

Vodafone Rs 555 Recharge Plan

The earlier Rs 555 plan has been changed, and now the validity has been increased from 70 days to 77 days. The plan benefits remain unchanged that means for Rs 555, customers can get unlimited voice calling, 1.5GB of daily data, and 100 local and national SMS every day.

Other reports suggest, in Vodafone-Idea postpaid offerings Vodafone will be dropping the 'Idea' and will be shifting its users to Vodafone Red. Users will get extra benefits which embrace more countries under international roaming packs and also access over 3,000 Vodafone stores pan-India.

"With the successful integration of two strong networks and deployment of new-age technologies such as Dynamic Spectrum Re-farming (DSR), M-MIMO, TDD Cells, customers of both and Small Vodafone and Idea brands can now enjoy the combined strength of a high powered, unified network via TurboNet 4G," Vodafone-Idea stated in a release.
