On its official site, Jio is going to offer the Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription for one year.

Reliance Jio has started advertising about a bundle offer under which it will include a one-year Disney + Hotstar VIP subscription. The Mumbai-based operator had also provided Hotstar Premium subscriptions in the past. Though, this will be the first time that Jio customers will get the annual Disney + Hotstar VIP subscription for Rs. 399 per year. It will provide access to Disney + shows, movies and content for kids along with exclusive Hotstar specials and live sports such as cricket, Premier League and Formula 1.

On its official site, Jio is going to offer the Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription for one year. There is no much clarity on whether the package subscription will be limited to specific plans yet. The operator also did not give any details about the offer launch date. The teaser banner only says the bundle is "coming soon". The teaser banner was first reported by OnlyTech the telecom-focussed blog.

The Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription offers the latest episodes of Indian TV shows daily at 6 am. It also includes new Indian movie premiers, Disney+ content, and exclusive Hotstar Specials. You'll also get access to live sports.

Challenging Airtel

Airtel brought the Rs. 401 prepaid recharge plan last month with the Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription for one year. The plan also comprises 3GB high-speed data allocation and 28 days of validity.

It looks like Jio is taking on Airtel by offering similar Disney+ Hotstar VIP benefits to the prepaid customers. The operator offered Hotstar Premium subscriptions earlier. In 2016, it offered the Hotstar Premium subscription through Jio Play to its subscribers. Recently through the JioTV+ service, Jio Fiber users also got the Disney+ Hotstar Premium subscription.
