Around 15 tola gold was stolen from a couple based Hyderabad on Bangalore express in the early hours on Thursday.
Getting into details, the couple D Revati and Satyanarayana were travelling to Hyderabad from Bengaluru when the incident occurred. According to DSP, Railway, Secunderabad, S Rajendra Prasad, the woman kept her handbag containing gold under her head and slept.
She went to washroom leaving the bag on her seat and when she returned she found a small wallet in the bag was missing.
The couple lodged a complaint with Kacheguda railway police. An invesigation is underway.
