The Met department bulletin said the highest maximum temperature in the State was 43.8 degrees Celsius recorded in Medak (where it fell by more than two degrees as against Thursday) and Adilabad. The day temperatures fell in Telangana because of the cloudy weather and conditions becoming more favourable for the Southwest Monsoon.

The forecast said light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at isolated places across Telangana from June 1 to 4. No large change during the period June 5-7 is the weather outlook.

However, the bulletin warned of heatwave conditions very likely to prevail at isolated pockets in Medak among ten Telangana districts on June 1 to 4. Public have been advised not to expose directly to sunlight and take necessary precautions due to heat wave.
