Hyderabad: A 25-year-old person committed rape on a class II girl (9), and daughter of his own sister on Friday under Madhapur police station limits.
According to police, a complaint has been lodged by the victim's mother (23), in which she stated that on Friday at 2 pm she left to the neighbouring house for household works and when she returned to home at 8 pm she noticed her daughter with the bleeding dress.
On enquiry, her daughter stated that her father-in-law have committed rape on her.
On receipt of the complaint, police registered a case under relevant sections and took up investigation. efforts were on to nab the accused, police added.
