Nagarkurnool: The Excise officials as part of their inspection of vehicles on Nagarkurnool-Balmoor highway stumbled upon a vehicle carrying 50 kilograms of Chloral Hydrate, a chemical substance used in preparation of toddy. According to Achampet police, the Excise officials and a team from the police department were conducting regular vehicle checks.
However, upon inspecting an Indica car, the police officials found 50 kilograms of Chloral Hydrate being smuggled from Karnataka to Lingal mandal. The police arrested two persons, seized the car and registered a case against the arrested persons.
