73rd birthday fete of Sonia Gandhi held
The 73rd birthday of UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi was celebrated by the Congress party leaders on a grand scale in Tellapur, Ramachandrapuram and the town. To mark the occasion, they distributed fruits and bread to patients in Anjaiah Memorial Hospital and R C Puram ESI.

Speaking on the occasion, the leaders stated that Sonia had helped the poor by persuading the government to take up MGNREGS and house-building workers, besides helping the poor with Indiramma Housing.
They hailed her contribution to the creation of Telangana State, thus meeting the aspiration of three crore people. Among the leaders present included Tellapur municipal partymen Arvind, Chilakamarri Prabhakar, Chitkul, MPTC member Madhavi Narender Reddy, DCC secretary Sammayya, former Town Congress chief Mallesh Yadav, town unit president Srinivas Mudiraj, Yuvaraj and Venkatesh.
