Hyderabad: Health Minister Eatala Rajender has reportedly given directions to senior officials to make changes to the earlier memo that allowed only eligible doctors from the Directorate of Health wing to be absorbed as Assistant Professors in the government medical colleges.
A revised memo giving chance to TVVP doctors willing to surrender to DME would be issued shortly, informed Dr Pallam Praveen, State president of Telangana Government Doctors Association on Monday.
A delegation of doctors led by Dr Praveen called on Eatela at Secretariat and expressed its concerns over denial of opportunity to eligible doctors to join as Assistant Professors under DME.
The doctors said that minister patiently heard their grievances and discussed the issue with senior officials of the department after which he gave instructions to also include eligible doctors from other wings also.
