Adilabad: Police seize ganja worth 5 lakh
Police seized banned ganja worth Rs 5 lakhs in Bazarhathnoor mandal in Adilabad district on Wednesday.
Adilabad: Police seized banned ganja worth Rs 5 lakhs in Bazarhathnoor mandal in Adilabad district on Wednesday.
Superintendent of Police Vishnu S Warrier said that on reliable information, police raided agriculture land of Gangaram, Gunawanth Rao, Kamble Jayawanth, and Krishna near Morkandi and Indira Nagar villages in Bazarhathnoor mandal.
The four accused were arrested and non-bailable cases have been registered against them. Police teams conducted the raiding under the direction of Boath SI Konka Mallesh.
The SP said that a special vigilance team will be set up to inspect crops throughout the district.
Adilabad DSP NSV Venkateswara Rao, Excise Superintendent Ravindar Raju, Boath Cl Mallesh, Bajarhathnoor CI P Uday Kumar, Satish and others were present.
