Siddipet: An awareness programme on anti-ragging laws was held at Siddipet Government Medical College on Wednesday. ACP Rameshwar called upon students to mingle with one another like sisters and brothers.

He said the Prohibition of Ragging Act was enacted in 1997 and was being stringently enforced. He explained to the students the consequences they have to face if they are found ragging. College principal Tamil Arasi, Siddipet Rural CI Surender Reddy, vice-principal Srinivas Rao, college coordinator Shiva Kumar and students were present.
