NTPC-Ramagundam is leaving no stone unturned in meeting any exigency arising out of heatwave-like situation as mercury levels are soaring to record high.

Ramagundam: NTPC-Ramagundam is leaving no stone unturned in meeting any exigency arising out of heatwave-like situation as mercury levels are soaring to record high. The best way to minimise the effect of scorching summer is to create awareness. With this objective, Safety Department of NTPC-Ramagundam has organised safety campaign on sunstroke awareness on Thursday.

Speaking at the awareness programme held at Plant Gate No-1 & 2, Mathew Varghese, CGM (O&M), NTPC-Ramagundam, asked all to take precautions and know the symptoms of sunstroke and remain alert especially those, who are exposed to sunlight while working.

Further, pamphlets and posters on sunstroke awareness were distributed among NTPC and agency employees to create awareness. Further, ORS packets were distributed among all and explained its usage during heatwave.
