BCs seek amenities at graveyard
The constituency convener of BC Welfare Association Rajkumar, along with members, requested RDO to resolve the issues related to graveyard, here on Tuesday.
Tandur: The constituency convener of BC Welfare Association Rajkumar, along with members, requested RDO to resolve the issues related to graveyard, here on Tuesday. They said the compound wall of BC graveyard in the center of the town was partially collapsed and that the cattle are entering on the premises.
They also requested to arrange a gate. The association members said the graveyard behind the police station is also in very bad condition. They lamented that peoples' representatives keep on saying that budget was released for repair works, but works did not start till now.
They warned that they would lay siege to the municipal office if works do not start within a week. Town BC Association President Rajan Goud, leaders Shukur, Ramesh, student leaders Bhanu, BJYM leader Kirankumar, G Venkatesh, Lakshman Goud, Akhil, Rakesh, Gopal and others were present on the occasion.
