Hyderabad: The Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) chief Prof Kodandaram has appealed to people of the State to observe "Pithru Amavasya" on September 28 to remember sacrifices made by Telangana Martyrs for the realisation of statehood dream.
In Telangana customs and traditions, offering new clothes and food items is being done for ages for "Pithru Amavasya".
Kodandaram urged party workers and people of the State to pay respects to Telangana Martyrs at the Martyrs Memorial and later distribute fruits to patients in hospitals apart from offering food items to the needy.
