A charred body of a man was found in a mango orchard near Dammayigudem of Tirumalayapalem in Khammam on Friday. The deceased was identified as C Naresh, a native of Birolu village.
The police suspected that Naresh might have been murdered and then set afire as his one of the legs was missing. An investigation is on.
On Thursday, the charred body of a veterinary doctor was found under Chatanpalli bridge in Shadnagar. The victim, identified as Priyanka Reddy has been gang-raped by four people in the outskirts and was killed.
