Tandur: The leaders of the labour unions and political parties said they would not backtrack and fear the ultimatum given by the Chief Minister. They staged protests here on Wednesday.
They said the Chief Minister had been rude towards the RTC workers. They demanded that the state government call the workers for talks so that the issue is resolved. The transport system was destabilised and, as a result, students and employees were facing hardships, they said. Leaders of TJS, CPM, BLF and RTC unions took part in the protest.
