A mild commotion prevailed after a textile shop in Peddapalli of erstwhile Karimnagar district offered saree for Rs 20 on Thursday.
Hundreds of women gathered in front of the shop to get the saree at the offer price. As soon as the management opened the shop, the women rushed inside the shop creating a stampede-like situation.
A few women sustained minor injuries while trying to grab the sarees for Rs 20. Meanwhile, the shop management was shocked after seeing the women and faced difficulty in selling sarees.
