Cong, TJS, Left stage candle light protest against Inter results goof-up
The leaders of Congress, CPI, CPI (M) and Telangana Jana Samithi took out a candle light rally in Hanamkonda on Thursday, condemning the State government’s inaction against those involved in the goof-up of Intermediate results.

Prof Kodandaram (TJS), N Rajender Reddy (Congress) and Thakkallapally Srinivas Rao (CPI) are among others who participated in the rally.
The leaders criticised the TRS government for maintaining a stoic silence even though 24 students, who failed in the Intermediate due to bungling of results, committed suicide. They demanded an explanation from the State government for its inaction against the Globarena company and officials of the Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) who were behind the goof-up.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, who talks tall of introducing reforms in the governance, needs to clean the BIE first, they said.
