Hyderabad: Few Congress leaders are angry with Malkajgiri MP A Revanth Reddy and planning to lodge a complaint against him with the high command on the laying siege to Pragathi Bhavan protest.

The laying siege stir was held on Monday successfully and several leaders of the Congress were arrested. The activity has been planned in support of the ongoing strike of the RTC employees.

Leader of Congress in Assembly Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, senior leaders V Hanumantha Rao, Kodanda Reddy, AICC secretaries SA Sampath, Vamsichand Reddy, and former MP Madhu Yaski met at Congress Legislature Party office on Tuesday at Assembly and discussed the issue.

Sources in the party said that the seniors have expressed serious objection to the way the laying siege programme was organised. They said that the programme was finalised by Revanth and others and it was not informed to them.

The leaders felt that Revanth should have convened a meeting of the seniors at Gandhi Bhavan and should have discussed the programme. They said that it was an insult to them as they were not taken into confidence while finalising the programme.

They felt that it was not correct for the Congress to hold agitation separately on the RTC issue. They opined that Congress should support the strike and programmes of the JAC and should not plan its own programmes.

The leaders have discussed how about making a complaint on Revanth to the high command. They also reportedly discussed on the ways to control Revanth Reddy in the party.
