AIMIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi may get into trouble for a hate speech he allegedly delivered on July 23.

Hyderabad: Akbaruddin Owaisi was earlier given a clean chit regarding the issue, however the Karimnagar district court has directed police to register an FIR against him after a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) affiliated advocate approached the magistrate court.

The district court has ordered police to register an FIR against him, based on the advocate's complaint.

After examining the documents that the advocate presented against Owaisi, the Magistrate court of Karimnagar asked three town police stations to register a case against Akabaruddin Owaisi under Section 153A (promoting enmity between different groups of religion, race, place of birth, residence and language.) of the IPC, and under Sections 153B and 506.

The FIR will be filed after court's orders today or tomorrow.
