With the COVID-19 scare, the people in Hyderabad are preferring to stay indoors by cancelling all their visits to the various places outside the city.

Several trains being operated from Hyderabad are seeing low occupancy due to the coronavirus and the officials of South Central Railway (SCR) has decided to cancel the trains. Four trains having low occupancy have been cancelled on Wednesday.

Train number 06043 from Villupuram to Secunderabad scheduled on April 1 and train number 06044 from Secunderabad to Villupuram scheduled on April 2 have been cancelled. While another two trains -- train number 01704 from Jabalpur to Tirunelveli scheduled on March 26 and train number 01703 scheduled on March 28 from Tirunelveli to Jabalpur have been cancelled, said CH Rakesh, public relations officer, South-Central Railway.

He said that they are releasing the press notes and announcing the news through media regarding the cancellation of several trains. However, the passengers who have already reserved their berths will have to visit special counters that have been set up to refund the money.
