Mahbubnagar: Members of Communist Party of India (CPI) from Narayanpet criticised the TRS government and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao at a protest rally organised in Makthal mandal on Monday.

The CPI members led by district additional secretary Kondanna burned an effigy of State government and expressed their anger over the arrest of former CPI MLA Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao in Hyderabad.

Kunaeni Sambashiva Rao, who was on a hunger strike to support the cause of striking TSRTC employees, was arrested from his house at mid-night by the police and lodged in NIMS hospital where he was continuing his hunger strike.

Expressing solidarity with the former MLA and protesting RTC employees, the CPI members' from Makthal mandal of Narayanpet district unit expressed their anger at the Chief Minister for his dictatorial attitude.

They warned the Chief Minister if he does not change his attitude and come out with amicable solutions for the issues of RTC employees, very soon the people will teach him a lesson.

"While 48,000 RTC employees who are on the roads fighting for their rights, the K Chandrashekar Rao government and the TRS party members are behaving as if nothing is happening in the State.

This shows their irresponsible attitude towards the employees and labour working force. The TRS government is trying to privatise the RTC and various other institutions in the State and trying to exploit the employees.

We are opposing to such kind of adverse policies of the government against the employees and the workers. We will continue to support the RTC employees cause and will stand by them till the end until they get justice," said Kondanna.

Kondanna said K Chandrashekar Rao was behaving like a dictator, if he does not mend his ways, very soon the Chief minister would also meet the same fate as the dictators in the past.
