Cruiser car overturns after hitting a median,3 critically injured in Mahbubnagar
At least three persons were severely injured and others suffered minor injuries when a speeding cruiser vehicle they were travelling in hit the median on National Highway 44 at Gollapally village of Jadcherla mandal on Tuesday.
Mahbubnagar: At least three persons were severely injured and others suffered minor injuries when a speeding cruiser vehicle they were traveling in hit the median on National Highway 44 at Gollapally village of Jadcherla Mandal on Tuesday.
According to sources, the cruiser vehicle, bearing registration number AP22TA6768, heading towards Kurnool from Hyderabad, which was at a very high speed, hit the median while trying to overtake another vehicle. The driver of the cruiser who lost control over the steering hit the median. Due to the impact, the vehicle somersaulted several times before coming to a standstill.
In the incident, three persons suffered critical injuries. According to Jadcherla Police, the accident occurred only due to the negligence of the driver who was driving the vehicle at a very high speed. As many as 15 persons were traveling in the car at the time of the accident. The injured persons were immediately shifted to a government hospital at Badepally in Jadcherla Mandal for treatment.
