Cyberabad police to register autosunder my auto safe theme
In the view of the safety and security of passengers who travel in auto-rickshaws, Cyberabad Police launched a new initiative of registering auto-rickshaws under “My auto is safe” theme from Friday.
Hyderabad: In the view of the safety and security of passengers who travel in auto-rickshaws, Cyberabad Police launched a new initiative of registering auto-rickshaws under "My auto is safe" theme from Friday.
According to the Cyberabad police, this is to ensure the safety of women, children and other citizens who travel in auto-rickshaws in the city and to improve road safety by giving information of auto owners or drivers to the passengers as per law.
There have been large number of complaints of misbehavior, rash driving, overcharging, dangerous driving, missing properties etc., by citizens.
Cyberabad police have arranged auto-rickshaw registration centres at police outpost in front of Inorbit mall, Kukatpally Old Traffic police station in front of Metro, Rajendranagar Traffic police station near Aramghar Chowrastha and Alwal Traffic police station near St. Ann's School Petbasheerabad.
All the owners of auto-rickshaws who are desirous of operating their autos in the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate jurisdiction should apply for registration, according to Cyberabad police.
