Siddipet: Mass 'Vrathas' of Satyananarayna Swamy and Tulasi Kalyanam were held at Swayambhu Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple at Pulluru on occasion of Karthika Pournami on Tuesday.
As many as 500 couples participated in the Vrathas. Devotees queued up right from the early morning at Koti Lingeshwara temple in Siddipet. The traditional lamps were lit up and the devotees offered special prayers and 'abhishekam' to Lord Shiva.
Later, the celestial wedding of Tulasi and Damodara was performed. Prayers were held under the supervision of hereditary priests Podicheti Srinivasacharyulu, P Ramakrishna, K Rangachary.
