DRI officials seized Rs 66.64 lakh smuggled foreign gold near Charminar
The sleuths of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) Hyderabad Zonal Unit on Wednesday arrested a person near Charminar and seized Rs 66.64 lakh worth 1.7 Kg smuggled foreign-marked gold from the accused.
Hyderabad: The sleuths of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) Hyderabad Zonal Unit on Wednesday arrested a person near Charminar and seized Rs 66.64 lakh worth 1.7 Kg smuggled foreign-marked gold from the accused.
According to sleuths acting on the basis of specific intelligence, the sleuths intercepted a person near Charminar carrying smuggled gold and arrested him under the provisions of the Customs Act, 1962. Further investigation is in progress.
