An elderly man died after consuming pesticide mixed alcohol with which his son-in-law committed suicide here at Jayashankar-Bhupalapally of erstwhile Warangal district. The incident took place on Friday night.
Getting into details, Ravi (45), a native of Kataram in Jayashankar Bhupalapally has got his daughter married to Nagaraju three years ago. Depressed over uncleared debts, Nagaraju committed suicide by consuming alcohol mixed with pesticide on Thursday.
After the last rites of son-in-law, Ravi returned home and saw the alcohol bottle consumed by Nagaraju. Unaware of it, Ravi consumed the alcohol and died on Friday night.
