Enter Jal Shakti Abhiyan programme information on portal: Collector M Rammohan Rao
District Collector M Rammohan Rao has instructed the officials to register information on Jal Shakti Abhiyan (JSA) programme in the online portal at a Jal Shakti Abhiyan meeting held with the officials in his chamber here on Wednesday.
Nizamabad: District Collector M Rammohan Rao has instructed the officials to register information on Jal Shakti Abhiyan (JSA) programme in the online portal at a Jal Shakti Abhiyan meeting held with the officials in his chamber here on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said water conservation programme in the district, along with the five blocks identified under the Jal Shakti Abhiyan in the district, are to be recorded on the Jal Shakti Abhiyan portal from time to time. The officials found out groundwater problem is serious in five mandals in the district.
Officials designated as nodal officers for these mandals should take up water conservation initiatives. Collector Rao suggested that the officials of Agriculture, Irrigation departments, groundwater and DRDA should take special care of these activities.
The meeting was attended by DDA Makal Govind, groundwater department Deputy Director Prasad, DRDO Ramesh Rathod, in-charge DPO Krishnamurthy and Irrigation department EE Radha Kishan and others.
