Asifabad: Komaram Bheem-Asifabad District Joint Collector Rambabu called upon the people to eradicate child labour system from the society for a better future of the nation.
Addressing a district-level coordination meeting on 'Bachpan Bachao Andolan' at the Collector's conference hall here on Friday, he said that Bachpan Bacho Andolan programme, which meant to eradicate child labour system will be conducted from June 1 to 30. Two teams are constituted to identify child labourers working in the district and strict action will be take on those who violate the rules, he warned.
Police Inspector Kashaiah, DRDO, SC, ST, BC, Minority welfare officers, labour department officers, CDPO and others were present at the meeting.
