Karimangar: Angry over not getting electricity for five days, the farmers of Chakalivanipalli village laid siege to the electricity sub-station located in Ganneruvaram mandal of Karimnagar district on Tuesday.

The farmers alleged that they have been facing a lot of problems due frequent interruption of power supply to their village and are unable to take farm activities properly.

Even due to slightest rainfall, the power supply will stop. We urged the officials to take steps for uninterrupted power supply to their village as promised by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao but they did hear to their appeals. They demanded the government to order the concern officials to provide uninterrupted power supply to their village.

Village ward member Repaka Babu, M Thirupathi, Bamandla Ravinder and Nakka Thirupathi were among those who were present.
