A fire engulfed plastic manufacturing unit on Saturday here at Babul Reddy Nagar in Mailardevpally. No casualties have been reported.
The fire tendors were alerted who took two hours to douse the fire. The property loss of Rs 15 lakh is estimated. The reason for the fire is believed to be a short circuit. A case was registered by the police.
On May 30, a fire broke out from a mobile store at ECIL crossroads. A loss of Rs 12 lakh has occurred. No casualties have been reported during the mishap.
